David White Co Surveying Tripod - This classic early-to-mid 20th-century surveyor's tripod was manufactured by the David White Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as indicated by the cast lettering around the top aluminum threaded collar. Crafted with sturdy split-leg hardwood timber construction and equipped with pointed metal shoes and foot pegs for field grounding, it represents solid industrial-grade American engineering. The wood shows authentic surface wear, scuffing, and weathering consistent with age and field use, while the metal collar and hardware display an aged patina with light surface oxidation.
