British Pattern 1907 Wilkinson Bayonet & Scabbard - This is a classic British Pattern 1907 (P1907) sword bayonet, specifically manufactured by the renowned Wilkinson Sword Company for use with the Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III rifle. The blade ricasso is marked”1907” model designation, the ”G.R.” (Georgius Rex) cypher under the crown for King George V, and a clear ”WILKINSON” maker mark. The reverse side displays the Broad Arrow (Government Property) mark, a bend test mark, and various inspector proofs. It retains its original steel-mounted leather scabbard. The piece is in fair vintage condition with a dark patina and surface oxidation on the crossguard and pommel; the wooden grips show moderate wear consistent with field use, with the letter “N “ or “Z” etched on one grip. The blade remains straight with minor pitting. The scabbard is solid, with strong, stable leather. H 22”, W 3”, D 1” Please see photos.
