US M7, M9 & MAS49/56 Bayonets - Cold War, Vietnam and Modern Era Bayonets/Knives. See photos. 1) M9 style sawback fixed blade combat bayonet- unmarked. Sawback design. Blade length 7.75”. Overall length 14.5” x3” x3” in scabbard. Scabbard has sharpening stone [beneath snap flap]. Unused, no cracks. Integrated wire cutter at tip of scabbard. 2) US M7 bayonet in M10 scabbard. Unissued condition. Knife 11.75” overall. Blade length 6.5”. The M7 bayonet was used by U.S. in 1964 when the M16 rifle entered service. This example is marked with a star and “AEP 1965” on Ricasso and other side marked “F80365” It is a fighting knife and utility tool. Handles are ribbed bakelite material, clean and nice. Pommel catch works as it should. Comes in M8 scabbard, unmarked, repainted at one point. Clean, no cracks. 3) French MAS 49/56 bayonet and scabbard 1959 Marked “E-RM” on crossguard. Looks nearly unissued. Clean w/ nice original finish. Knife length 13.5”. Blade length 8.5”. In matching scabbard marked “MAS 69” on back of throat.
