WWII US Army Soldier Photos, Watch, V-Mails - Collection of original photographs, buttons, correspondences and watch in a cigar box associated with brothers Raymond and Edward Korbas. One served in Army and other in Navy. V-mails written back to their mother as well as each-other. Photo prints include subjects like training camp, baseball playing, Japanese-American soldiers, photos sent from home, Getting married etc… There are 8 distinct groupings of photos [determined by size]. Dimensions range from 1.5”x2” to 3” square to 2.5”x3.5” to 4”x5”. In total there are approximately 113 original photo prints. There are 8 V-mail correspondences. Pair of wool SGT Stripes. Bag of 13 US Army uniform buttons 1.25” diam.; bag of 7 buttons .89” diam. ; bag of 4 buttons .60” diam. Screw back post. Elgin pocket watch with chain. 17-Jewel model. Not running.
