US Army Mid 1800's Epaulette Pair - Pair of US Epaulettes for United States Infantry officer circa 1851-1872. Covered in silver lace and bullion thread throughout. No rank insignia present. Silk pillow areas present, but distressed. Missing hardware to affix to uniform. Larger diameter silver bullion coils denote higher rank use. . The silver uniform button on the central edge of the piece has a federal eagle clutching arrows and olive branch with “I” in center. Each one measures 7” long x 5” wide x 4” tall.
