Scarce WWII Japanese Type 99 Arisaka Canvas Sling - Original World War II Japanese Type 99 Arisaka canvas rifle sling. The sling features quick detach (bailing wire) style clips and the canvass keeper. The canvas is in very good condition, with no fraying and showing stains from use and storage. All stitching is intact and solid. The metal parts exhibit much of the factory finish. Faint kanji markings are visible on the sling. These slings are hard to find and are an excellent accessory to any collection of Arisaka Rifles. Please see photos for overall condition. Part of the John Bannister Collection. Length as shown 41.75”
