WWII Flyers A4 Coveralls, C1 Vest, 1944 Parachute - Original WW2 US Army Air Force C-1 Survival Sustenance Vest. Sears Roebuck. Manufactured by Reliance Manufacturing Co Chicago. Vest is well marked for what should go in each pocket. The Army Air Force insignia is slightly faded on the front, but still quite visible, The pockets have been stuffed with foam, bubble wrap to mimic full contents. There are two large nice condition J&J Carlisle bandages in original cello wrap in their respective assigned pockets. There is a Marksman repeater 45 style .177 bb gun in the holster for display purposes. A nice set of USAAF Army Air Force Green Gabardine Wool Type A-4 Flight Suit Military Coveralls Size 38. Named to Lyle Schaller, Naperville IL, who was an aerial photographer for 3 years during WWII. Last item is a November 1944 dated Simmons manufactured white parachute canopy. Some of the strings have been cut, but the sail panels are in good condition. Belonged to Clifford Preston, Naperville IL, He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during World War II, stationed on Okinawa. All three of these items would be great for a WWII aviator display.
