WWII USMC Named Female Summer and Winter Service - This grouping includes Summer and Winter uniforms named to Mary Ann Olson. Summer: Seersucker uniform top with WWII screwback EGAs and matching skirt.(no name or size marks). Front buttons are held in place with various old safety pins. The Collector reports this uniform belonged to USMC Officer Mary Ann Olson who was a flight nurse. EGAs are mismatched. The matching skirt has 24” waist and is 25” long. There are clutchback holes on lower collar. Has couple of rust or blood spots and gentle age. Garrison-style cap, light green shade trimmed with white piping. Screwback EGA Size 21-1/2. ”Mary Ann Olson” name tag sewn onto headband. This is very scarce woman's uniform. Winter: Coat, forest green, serge man-tailored jacket. Screwback EGA's, Nurse collar insignia, ribbon bars: Marine GC, WWII Victory, Asiatic Pacific CM. Red /green fourragere, Marine Pistol Expert badge. Ruptured duck patch on chest. Straight skirt, zip up. Long-sleeved khaki shirt, lightly starched, couple of rust or blood spots. Khaki necktie, Green cap w/lipstick red piping. All items have name ”Mary Ann Olson” stitched/written in/on them.
