WWII & Cold War US Navy Lot - Varied collection of US Navy material-uniforms, photos, insignia and souvenirs circa WWII through 1960's. Includes 1) framed items: Coast Guard portrait; Coast Guard Band-Port of Boston Sept, 1945; USS Lake Champlain Aircraft Carrier; Certificate, ”Solemn Mysteries and Order of the Deep”, for Anthony E. Pilch S2C. Dated 14 April 1944. US Flag flown off of Battleship USS Arizona on Sept 14, 1978. 2) Wooden and glass service tray with the Destroyer USS Converse drawing. 3) Pillow sham-US Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX. 4) US Flags, 48 Stars. One small silk personal flag, and larger cotton sewn flag [3'x5']. 5) US Navy rank insignia. Dated 1943. In large frame featuring story of USS Bagley at Pearl Harbor. 6) Book, A Guide to US Navy Insignia. Printed 1942. 7) Shaving mug, USS Indiana Battleship. 8) Midshipman ”Dixie Cup” hat [size 7] and Navy flat ”Donald Duck cap. Size 7-1/4 Named to ”J.L Barna”. 8) Navy Cracker Jack jumper, black neck scarf, and trousers attributed by consigner to Electrician's Mate John Ruzik, who served on submarines: USS Bang, USS Pampanito and USS Searaven . He enlisted 14 Nov 1942 and discharged 15 Jan 1946. Accompanied by manual in hardcover binder. 9) Navy Cracker Jack jumper, black neck scarf. Amphibious forces insignia, Motor Machinists insignia left sleeve. 10) Navy Cracker Jack jumper. US Naval Sea Cadet patches both sleeves. Submarine cuff panels on each sleeve. Stenciled ” RDS” back of neck. 11) Navy Cracker Jack jumper, Attribute to Leslie Roberrts, US Coast Guard, Atlantic Service. Ruptured suck patch on chest. Petty Officer, 2nd CL.
