Civil War Collapsible Field Telescope-CSA Marked - This is a 3 pull spyglass telescope that is well documented to be from the Civil War era. It is 6.5” closed and 17” fully opened. It has brown leather wrapped body with two leather end caps. The larger leather cap has a later replaced leather loop for strapping the end caps together. The leather connecting strap is missing. The optics function well with some darkening around edges of the field of sight. The rim of the eye piece has ”C.S.A.” stamped into it and it is our opinion this was done after the Civil War.
