19th-20th Century Binoculars, Nautical Brass - A trio of nautical/ military binoculars from the late 19th to early 20th Century. Two are brass bodied. One of them is engraved ”U.S. Navy OR 9957”. It measures 6” closed and 7-1/2” fully extended. The second brass example has a ”WC” logo and the word ”Beau” engraved on each tube. It measures 5-1/2”” closed and 6” fully extended. The third example is leather wrapped, and marked ”COLMONT FT PARIS” on both eyepieces. There is some loss of leather on it adjacent to the focus knob, but it is in very good overall condition. It measures 6-1/2” closed and 8” fully extended. All three examples have excellent optics, with no significant cracks or damage to the lenses. They all have extendable hoods for glare reduction on the lenses.
