WWI US Army Gas Mask & Overcoat-Named 2 Men Lot - Includes two separately named WWI items. 1) US gas mask and bag. The mask is flexible enough for display on head. Has no anti-fogging tin and black rubber exhaust valve is missing. Nose clip and mouth piece are in good condition. Filter has been painted over with mint green paint. Hose is flexible but a bit flattened. Bag is ink marked ”R.L. Truxal Co. F” and ”4076111 4th Engrs”. It probably is for the 4th Engineer battalion. 2) The overcoat has Corporal stripes on sleeve. One front button is missing and no visible spec tag but has two large inked ”US” marking deep in lining. Interior is ink marked ” ”T.I. Shepherd Co. A”. In excellent condition with no mothing. 3) US winter snood that looks homemade. It is not marked and 4) unmarked US pistol web belt with brass fittings.
