Vietnam War USAF Uniform Grouping-Photos-Docs - From Oak Park Native Michael D. Grayson (1947-2006). He served in the US Air Force from 1965 to 1971. At one point, he was stationed in Vietnam on an Air Force base as a repair technician. From the pictures, he manned Quad 50 caliber machine guns and did his fair share of guard duty. Included in the grouping is his visor hat, Class A uniform with trousers and belt. 4 photos in Vietnam. Two photos stateside, discharge certificate, discharge paperwork, 1967 specialized training certificate, small silk souvenir Vietnam and US flags and smaller folded US flag in triangle zipper bag, two small home front ”In Service” banners, vinyl 8th Army MP armband and 1960s West German M1A1 made of composite material. This grouping deserves a good home.
