Bijou Orchestrone Paper Roll Organ - This machine in its wood cabinet has its original dark brown finish and stenciling which is dark and dirty with some finish loss mainly on the left and front sides. See photos. Cabinet also features 2 hinged top covers one of which has operating instructions and also used for expression and to regulate the volume and the second larger cover gives access to the mechanism for roll changing. The sides of the cabinet are embossed featuring a plant like/floral design and in the front of the cabinet is a decorative front grill. The mechanism has an recent (2017) restoration. Has its original operating cranks.. It is in good playing condition and plays loud and strong. Cabinet measures 17” L X 14” D X 13” T. Also included are 16 original paper rolls of various titles. All of them appear dirty and worn with evidence of having been repaired. Each of them has a handwritten label and title and they appear to be playable. All of the rolls are housed in a small wooden box.
