Columbia BS Coin Op Cyl Phono w/Horn & More - This machine in its oak cabinet has been professionally refinished and presents well. The top marquee with its advertising card are a high quality reproduction. The lower cabinet has glass on all four sides for viewing of the mech. The front glass panel is curved. Has an original aluminum floating #2 Eagle reproducer with a good stylus. Carriage and mandrill move freely. The mechanism has its original nickel plating with a few minor rust spots here and there but in generally good condition. The coin mech is complete and the mechanism winds, runs and resets as it should with a 5 cent U.S. coin. Has its original winding crank. The braided flexible tube from the reproducer to the horn appears to be a high quality replacement. Both ends of this tube appear to be original. Also included is an original 11-1/4” L nickel plated steel and brass horn with 5-1/4” D brass bell. Both the bell and body have numerous dings and wrinkles. The nickel plating is well worn with brass showing through the nickel plating on the bell and the body is rusted and pitted. The angle horn connector is a reproduction. Also included is an old original listening tube outfit which measures 42” L . The connector opposite the ear pieces appears to be a newer replacement. Cabinet measures 15” W X 9” D X 12-1/2” at the marquee. A nice restored example of a hard to find machine.
