Includes 1) Large format ammunition container Type Designator/Model: M2A1 Cal./Size: 11-inches wide, 7-inches high and 5 ¾-inches deep. Color: Green with yellow markings. Manufacturer: Unknown - United States. Typical larger ammunition can design. Some minor rust and pitting. Markings are clear and read “840 CARTRIDGES; 5.56 MM; M855; 10-RD CLIPS; BANDOLIERS; LC-86D082-066”. As it says, these are ball cartridges in clips of ten rounds that are packed in bandoliers. Slight dent in the bottom. Stamped in raised letters on the side is “S.C.F.”. Stenciled on the top of the can is “PACKAGED WITH DESICANT; DO NOT OPEN; UNTIL READY FOR USE OF INSPECTION”. The interior plastic packaging is present. Stamped in raised letters on the side is “S.C.F.”. The rubber interior seal is in place. Both are in very good condition.
