WWII Era US 20mm Cartridge Ammo Box Can Lot - This lot of 2 is from Jim Geibel collection and includes: 1) Large ammunition container Type Designator/Model: Unknown. Cal./Size: 17 ½-inches wide, 14 ½-inches high and 7 ½-inches deep Color: Green. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States. Large ammunition can used for such things as 20mm rounds, among others. There is considerable rust on the inside of this can and minor rust on the outside. There are no markings on the can. 2) Item Description: Large ammunition container Type Designator/Model: Unknown Cal./Size: 17 ½-inches wide, 14 ½-inches high and 7 ½-inches deep Color: Green with white markings Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States. Large ammunition can used for such things as 20mm rounds, among others. There is no rust on the inside of this can and very minor rust on the outside. Stenciled in white in two places on the can is the word “EMPTY”. There is a large section on the lid with Scotch tape on it holding a note in place. There is a small dent on one edge. Portions of the surface have been painted over the original paint.
