WWII Japanese Signed USMC USN Silk Flag - This silk Japanese national flag is 27” x 38”. It is signed in kanji for Fukuoka, Kurume O Mura Japan. 7 US Marines and Navy men signed it around the ”meatball”. Flag shows age and wear however, the silk is strong with no rips, holes or snags. Also Included is paperwork that translates the flag kanji and research on 6 of the 7 Americans with 3 printed obituaries of these men. This is a flag with much research - only one more man to be found and more history to be discovered!
