WWII German Luftwaffe Pilot Badge-GWL - Tombac material made GWL (Grebüder Wegerhoff of Lüdenscheid). GWL started this type of badge in 1941. Very well made, wreath still has a lot of the silver frosty finish. Eagle is on tight to wreath, pin is not bent but there is some discoloring to front of wreath and on back. Eagle has darkened with age. A very nice example of a fine wartime made badge.
