WWI Era French Dragoon Helmet Ink Well Lamp - This is one of most unusual items we have seen. This helmet ink well lamp is 34” tall - the brass base has two compartments for inkwell and powder shaker for talc or pounce. One of lids to compartments is missing. The French Dragoon helmet is very nice and is marked on back of helmet with maker's name. The liner is missing but the chinstrap is in very good condition. Lamp has two sockets and they do work. This must have been on an impressive and large desk. It is a striking piece.
