WWII Japanese Army SECRET Document Map Case - Rarely if ever seen brown leather Japanese Army LOCKING document/map case. It is 8” x 10” x4”. It has two key locking compartments and many holders for pens, pencils and more. Has single leather shoulder strap. The front compartment has 2 sub compartments and the rear one has one. The rear lock looks to have been pried open but it still closes. We have never seen this type in person and it clearly was for more sensitive maps and documents. Strap is worn but intact and case shows age and wear but leather is not dried out too much.
