Late Vietnam War Era US M1 Helmet W/Camo Cover
This helmet is marked in the liner bottom "US" over "71' and sweatband is DSA dated 1972. Chinstrap is ball and socket type. The reversible DSA dated 1969 camo cover has been on this helmet for years. The shell is green/sand mix paint. Helmet cover band is well marked (faded). This is not a put-together helmet and appears to be a real "In country".
