WWII US 2nd Lt M1 Helmet W/ White Disc-Chaplain? - Helmet has the highly talked about and debated plain white painted disc only on the back of the helmet. Right side rim has slight dent that caused a hairline crack in the liner. The front has nothing. Liner has the same white disc to back with painted 2nd Lt bar on front. It is marked ”7” over Westinghouse logo. There is a return mailing label on the top of the liner. Some say, chaplain, medic, signals radioman or landing party. The liner is marked - helmet is out of an estate with no information.
