WWII German M42 Navy Helmet W/Liner - M42 helmet is greenish blue paint and has no ink stamping inside dome. It is our opinion the Navy single decal is a post war decal. The back is marked ”ckl 66” over 2738. The ck of the ckl are not very visible at all. Back of visor also has red painted swastika and ink marking ”KM” The chinstrap is black leather and not an issued chinstrap. Liner shows wear and age with the ink stamped size being hard to read. This helmet still hits the mark of a wartime production and it displays well.
