Unusual! Winchester 1917 .30-06 Rifle (C) W177803 - Collectible! Winchester 1917 .30-06 Rifle in good condition with wear and oxidation. The bore rifling is strong with some frosting, Comes with a canvas sling. There are no Winchester markings except The star and circle and th”W” in the serial number. Some early Winchester 1917 (approx. 50,000) were stamped on the receiver with a circle/star. These rifles did not meet parts interchangeability standards and were so marked as to preclude them from being shipped overseas. They were to be kept and used stateside. C&R Eligible S/N:W177083
