The blouse has a solid gold cotton yoke and puffed sleeves, a green and red neck binding with a metal zipper closure, and a white hem band. The front panel has two large sea skates, shown from above, side by side, with their broad bodies divided into outlined segments and long tails extending downward, and a small animal placed between them. The back panel composition repeats with two sea skates and a small animal between them, reworked in a different color arrangement. The bodies are edged with rows of embroidered and slit detail suggesting fins, and the ground is filled with dense multicolored bands.
