3 Vintage Bogolan Cloths - Mali - 3 Vintage Bogolan Cloths - Mali. Three vintage mud cloths from Mali. Bogolan cloth, 38” x 57”, dark brown with white blocks of circles, lines, zigzags, and triangles; the panels are sewn together, with some seams loosening. Good condition. Handwoven indigo-dyed mud cloth, 39” x 61”, with squares of varying sizes; some blue areas have faded to a yellowish white, and there is a rip in one panel. Hand-dyed brown strip-cloth mud cloth by the Bamana people, 35” x 48”, with bars of black lines and arrows. Some fading; good condition.
