Antique c1920 Childs Redwork Quilt - Antique c1920 Childs Redwork Quilt measuring 47 by 59 inches. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 7.5 by 7.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 2.5 inch white sashing. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red fabric binding, possibly a newer replacement. Motifs include lots of figures, animals, Dutch motifs, fruits and much more.
