Vintage c1940 Poppy Applique Quilt - Vintage c1940 Poppy variation Applique Quilt measuring 87 by 90 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 33 by 34 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with an 11 inch off white border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by machine. Quilting motifs include an interesting acorn design in the corners and in the center.
