Vintage c1940 California Poppy Quilt - Vintage c1940 California Poppy variation Quilt, measuring 81 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 33 by 34 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with 8 inch white outer border. The appliqué motif is worked in orange and green solid fabrics. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand.
