Vintage c1950 Turtle Summer Quilt - Vintage c1950 Turtle Summer Quilt measuring 61 by 78 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with 3.5” red floral feed sack sashing and solid off white cornerstones. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and machine quilted. There is no batting but an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a red floral feed sack print applied binding, by machine. Workmanship is primitive but charming.
