Antique c1900 Double Irish Chain Quilt - Antique c1900 Double Irish Chain Quilt in yellow and off white. It measures 72 by 82 inches. It is comprised of 42 25 patch blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set on point, 6 by 7, with on point setting squares with yellow square appliqué corners. Partial squares set the quilt. There is a 5 inch off white inner border and a 1.5 inch yellow and off white sawtooth border. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. The quilting is actually quite magnificent. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied yellow fabric binding.
