Vintage c1940 Cottage Tulips Quilt - Vintage c1940 Cottage Tulips Quilt measuring 68 by 92 inches. It is comprised of 12 blocks, 18 by 18 inches, set straight, 3 by 4, with 3.5” green sashing and red and white 4 patch cornerstones. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. Workmanship is charming but primitive. There is a sleeve on the reverse for hanging.
