Vintage c1940 Circle of Poppies Kit Quilt - Vintage c1940 Circle of Poppies Kit Quilt by Progress measuring 87 by 89 inches. 2 Poppy motifs, one upside down, form a ring in the center of the quilt. There is one large poppy in the center of each motif with smaller blooms, leaves and buds curving out from the center. The 4 corners have vining stems with buds and a large poppy. It is hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink binding, which may be a replacement.
