Vintage c1940 Cross Purposes Quilt - Vintage c1940 Cross Purposes Quilt measuring 74x81”. Medallion style diamond center with 2” feedsack print squares, surrounded by a 5.5” white border, within a 46” square with more 2” feedsack square corners. There is a 5.5” white frame, followed by a piece on point square 4.5” frame, followed by a 4.5” white frame. There is a 3” pieced on point square outer border along the top and bottom. It is hand pieced and beautifully hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied soft green fabric binding.
