It is comprised of 13 blocks, 21 by 21 inches, set on point and staggered, 3 by 3, with solid off white setting triangles. It is hand appliquéd, machine pieced, and machine quilted in an overall hanging grid pattern. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse the edge is finished with an applied red binding, by machine.
