Vintage c1940 House Top Tied Quilt - Vintage c1940 House Top Tied Comfort Quilt measuring 65 by 71 inches. Primitive and improvisational style, similar to Gee's Bend, in a variety of mostly wool fabrics. It is hand pieced and hand tied in yellow and red Perl cotton. Thick batting and a blue and orange geometric print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand.
