Vintage c1950 Embroidered Ladies Quilt - PA - Vintage c1950 Embroidered Ladies Quilt made by Stella C Moyer (1/30/18-8/15/1959) from Virginsville, PA, measuring 80x81”. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with an 8 inch pale yellow border. Bright solid yellow blocks are each hand embroidered in black thread with images of ladies. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a pale yellow reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand.
