Antique c1900 Tumbling Blocks Quilt measuring 75 x 85 inches. It is comprised of diamonds measuring 2.5 inches along one side, with fabric placement creating the tumbling blocks motif. It is mostly indigo prints and shirtings with some red prints. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting and off white cotton muslin reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in overall good condition with only a few small marks. From a Wisconsin Collector.
