Antique c1900 On Point 4 Patch Quilt measures 65 x 72 inches. It is comprised of 30 4 patch blocks, 6.5 x 6.5 inches, set on point, 5 by 6 with a black with bright print alternating squares and setting triangles. There is a 2 inch chrome yellow inner border and a 7 inch black with bright print outer border. There is a thin cotton batting and a brown cotton print reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. It is in good condition with a few small spots and a dark discoloration by an edge. This quilt is part of the Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon's Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon was THE authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
