Antique c1880 Basket Quilt - Antique c1880 Basket Quilt measures 77x92''. Comprised of 70 squares measuring 8.5x8.5'', set straight, 7x10, with 3.5'' vertical green inner border and a 5'' red outer border. The squares alternate between solid red and a pieced basket block. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a red and white gingham cotton reverse. In poor condition with overall toning, spots, fabric deterioration and the turkey red is abrading. There is a small hand appliqued inked label with the name Florence. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
