Antique c1880 Scrappy Grandmothers Pride Quilt measuring 64x66". It is comprised of 25 blocks, 9x9", set straight, 5 by 5, with a 11" wide red print border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a red print reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back. It is in fair condition with several fabrics deteriorating (in 10 blocks), small spots, and small fade mark along a border edge. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon's Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
