Vintage String Star Quilt. Measuring 68x84 inches. We believe the top is c1890s but finished in the 20th century. Comprised of 30 string pieced stars that measure about 13.5x13.5 inches. Interesting construction because the stars are actually formed in the sashing around the 8x8 inch red print squares. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin polyester batting and a pink chambray backing. The edge is finished with the backing brought to the front and applied by machine. In very good condition with a few small spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
