Antique 1860 Bear Paw quilt measuring 76 x79 inches. Comprised of 16 bear paw blocks 11.5 x 11.5 inches, set on point, 4 x 4 with alternating squares and setting triangles in a red print. Blocks are made of a turkey red print and a double green solid. A 1.5 inch green solid inner border and a 4.5 inch red outer border frames the quilt. Thin cotton batting, a white cotton reverse and green solid applied binding. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. In poor condition with overall fading, spots, edge wear, popping to the turkey red print, and a conservation effort on two borders. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5.
