Antique Log Cabin Quilt c1880
Antique Log Cabin quilt c1880s measuring 87 x 87 inches. Comprised of 156 log cabin blocks about 6 x 6 inches, set straight 12 x 13 with a 5.5 inch madder and double green sawtooth border on three sides, and a 3 inch double green border on the fourth side. Log Cabin arrangement is in straight furrows. Fabrics include a variety of browns, centennial green, shirtings, double blue and more. Very thin batting, and a blue pinstripe print backing, edge is finished with front going to the back and applied by hand. Hand pieced, hand quilted in an overall diagonal pattern. Quilt was purchased from an estate in Dennisville, NJ in 1999. In good condition with small spots. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5. One quilt is $25, 2 quilts $30, 3 quilts $35 as long as they ship in the same box.
