Antique 1840s-1850s Sawtooth Block pattern quilt measuring 74.5 x 92.5 inches, consists of 208 sawtooth blocks measuring 5.5 x 5.5 inches set straight 13 x 16, with a sawtooth border on two sides measuring 1.25 inches, hand pieced and moderately hand quilted with some double motif quilting, many fabrics from the time period with some most likely English. Off white cotton reverse, thin cotton batting, and a woven tape finishes the edge. Quilt is in fair condition with overall toning, some spots, and has been bravely washed over the past 100 years, and the tape edge is fraying on three sides.
