Vintage Knitted Folk Art Rug
Vintage folk art rug measuring 23.5 x 44 inches. Laura Fisher describes this as knitted tubes, hand applied to cotton ticking. Consistent red stripes with bursts of other blocks of color. In fair condition with wear and a couple of small holes, and dye migration on the back. This item was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
