Vintage wool folk art rug measuring 25 x 33 inches with 3 inches of fringe along the short sides. Rug depicts a sleeping dog on a Home Sweet Home rug, hand appliqued and hand embroidered with mom and dad's feet and legs lounging on coffee table, and hand embroidered wood planks, dad's shoes are leather, back in a red, white and blue fabric. In fair condition with some holes and spots, also missing about 1 inch of fringe. This item was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
