Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Monkey Wrench Quilt
Vintage Monkey Wrench quilt 1890-1930, measuring 66x79 inches. The top appears to be from about 1890, and finished in 1930s, based on the backing fabric. 30 blocks are set straight, 5 by 6, with chrome yellow sashing and borders. Backing is a green and white print. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. In fair condition, fabric in one block is deteriorating, the binding is worn overall and there is wear and holes along one border. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
