Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Morning Star Quilt Top
Vintage c1930s Morning Star or Novel Star pattern quilt top. It measures 60x81 inches. Consists of 20 blocks 10.5x13 inches, set straight, 4 by 5 with purple sashing. It is hand pieced. There is no batting, backing or quilting, but the edges have been hemmed to finish it. It is in fair condition with spots and fading, most obviously in the purple sashing along the fold lines. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $15 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
